WHATS INVOLVED 

All lessons plans are created and put together according to age and ability of year groups 7 - 11, with the intention of increasing 

self-confidence and self believe by providing a sense of achievement upon completion of each task. 

 There will be a mixture of  fun  practical activities and theory worksheets to keep students fully engaged for the duration of the session. Practical lessons will encourage students to use organisation skills and practise there ability to follow instructions and directions to a satisfactory level, as well as helping others when needed. Selected write ups and work sheets consists of, a little maths, business and finance, all brilliant skills to be transferred into future careers and every day life.

  The below workshops can be booked as a program package with a minimum of 6 weekly sessions. Each weekly session will consist of 4 hours worth of learning ( taking into account time taken for setting up and packing away) to give you reflexibility on students from different year groups you wish to attend. The 4 hour session are usually broke up into 2,  90 minutes classes either side a lunch break or 4, 60 minute classes to accommodate different year groups or to split larger group up into a manageable number of students. A perfect additional vocation to be time-tabled around your compulsory core subject within the school day, to fill a single term or multiple programs to full an academic school year.

A individual workshop sessions can be booked for a minimum of a 2 hour duration, to be divided  into 2, 50 minute classes with a short break in-between. You can choose an element from any program package to be transformed into a condensed workshop. Ideal for 1-1 tuition, or small groups of up to 4 students.

All equipment will be provided by myself and where can be facilitated assess to a microwave and/or kitchen hob will be required, depending on the selection of package chosen. Students will be required to wear supplied health and safety equipment and adhere to my, good manufacturing practice to prevent cross contamination of ingredients which may impact the final products integrity. Full ingredient list will be provided to take home with their  product and/or  presented ahead of lessons for parental consent due to skin allergies.

As an added bonus star students will receive awards and a small gifts for outstanding focus and effort at the end of each term, which often becomes healthy competition amongst students throughout my duration. All students both boys and girls I've taught have showed excellent interest in all subjects and by the end of the  programs are completing actives and worksheets involving writing formulars, converting percentages into gram, calculating batch amounts and product costing, with minimal to no help at all.
